The Cursa a Peu al Raval is a 10 km street race held in Gandia, Valencia, in early December. It runs through the Raval neighborhood and surrounding city streets. The adult race, which begins and ends on C/ Pellers, is described as a non-competitive event, focusing on local participation over a strict race format.
The race is named the Memorial Vicent Mañó, honoring an athlete linked to the Raval running tradition dating back to around 1930. Neighbors revived the event in the 1990s, and it is organized by the Associació de Veïns del Raval in conjunction with Gandia’s city council. The day also features children’s races under the Trofeu Juanjo Català “Totet” name, a commemorative T-shirt, and a loyalty draw offering local prizes like backpacks, wine, ham, and sunglasses.
