Kangasala Trail Running

Kangasala Trail Running, a Finnish trail event, is held at Kyötikkälä sports center in Kangasala. The race starts in June, with registration available on race morning. Organized by Kuntosudet Ry, this charity run offers various participation levels: 7.5 km Samoilija kieppi, 15 km Tupla Kieppi, and 22.5 km Puoli Extreme for men and women. Untimed walking categories and a 1 km or 2 km mini-trail are available for children and adults. The course is defined primarily by distance, emphasizing natural trails over road running. It caters to competitive runners, fitness walkers, pole walkers, families, students, seniors, and first-timers. Children under 16 participate for free, and all finishers receive a commemorative medal. The event supports sports hobbies for children and young people from low-income families by providing 100 euro Intersport gift cards, applied for via email and distributed annually. Trophies are awarded to winners, and all participants must complete a registration form at the venue to receive a race number.
