Gran Fondo dei Templari
Κυριακή, Ιούλιος 5, 2026 · Pordenone, Italy
Σχετικά με τον αγώνα
The Gran Fondo dei Templari begins at Via Peruzza 8 and concludes in Pordenone on Via Maestra Vecchia, close to Vial Grande. This is an annual Italian road cycling gran fondo associated with the Alpe Adria Tour circuit, featuring a single main race route rather than multiple distance choices.
The present course covers 127 kilometers with 1,730 meters of elevation gain, departing Pordenone towards San Quirino Z. Modifications to the route eliminated previous climbs like Pala Barzana, Clauzzetto, Forchia di Meduno, Campone, and Meduno due to permit issues and damage in established sections. The race now includes two brief ascents: the Muro di Casiacco, measuring 1.6 kilometers with a gradient reaching 25% in one section, and Cave di San Lorenzo, a 3.5-kilometer climb averaging 7%. This is followed by an extended descent back towards Pordenone. Participants receive food and water at Pradis di Sopra and Forcella Claupa. The Pala Viola finish area provides water and watermelon, with additional water stations available if conditions are hot. Eraldo Scipioni, Patrizio Brusadin, and Guido Rossi established the event; Primoz Roglic was a past winner on an earlier iteration of the course.
