Σχετικά με τον αγώνα
Haugesund-Sauda is a road cycling race held in late May in Western Norway, covering approximately 108 km from the Haugesund area to Sauda. Participants depart from Amandasenteret, with leisure cyclists starting ahead of the competition class. The first finishers are anticipated in Sauda by early afternoon.
The route crosses varied west-coast terrain before concluding in the midst of Saudadagane, giving the finish a town festival atmosphere rather than a simple race line. Recent events have drawn several hundred participants, including club cyclists, competitive riders, and non-elite entrants. Traffic is managed by police and motorcycle marshals, particularly near Frakkagjerd and Aksdal. The previous year's race was decided on the finishing straight by Felix Orn-Kristoff, Alexander Kristoff's younger brother, before thousands of spectators.
