Nesfjellet Gravelduro is a late-summer gravel cycling event held at Nesfjellet, Norway, utilizing the area's network of gravel paths and roads. Now in its sixth edition, it is organized by Green Cycling Norway, Nesfjellet, and Orset Sport. Participants can select routes ranging from a 5-kilometer loop to a 115-kilometer course, with intermediate options of 18, 50, and 87 kilometers. This variety accommodates beginners, experienced gravel cyclists, and those seeking a lengthy mountain-bike-style challenge. E-bikes are permitted.
The longer routes traverse Hallingspranget, offering a more extensive exploration of the surrounding terrain instead of remaining near the start. The event emphasizes participant choice in how far they wish to engage with Nesfjellet's gravel riding network, rather than a single set distance. Following the cycling, the event transitions into a social gathering featuring a concert, barbecue, and beverages, making the conclusion a communal evening for participants and their guests.
