About
Victoria Park places you directly in the Port Hills for the Wicked Rogaines Spring Series, which begins on mostly off-road terrain rather than a taped course. This is an on-foot checkpoint hunt: part running, part map-reading, part debating with your teammate about whether the next control point is worth the ascent. The longer navigation course allows experienced rogainers to make route decisions, while the shorter option for newer participants offers a manageable introduction.
Expect trails, open parkland, and sufficient elevation changes to challenge your legs as you determine the optimal path to collect points before returning to the start/finish. Runners, walkers, teams, beginners, and regular rogainers are all welcome. The children's event features a family-friendly course with simpler controls located nearby for children around 4 years old. A virtual option is available, but the in-person draw is the traditional off-road navigation challenge: map in hand, hills surrounding you, and consequential decisions.
