Meia Maratona de Gaia

The Meia Maratona de Gaia is a road race held in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal, in the Porto district, near the end of March. Participants can select a 10 km race or a half marathon of 21.0975 km. This setup accommodates those progressing from shorter races and seasoned runners accustomed to longer distances. Both distances feature a single-loop course, simplifying the format and eliminating the need for repeated laps. The route follows coastal roads within Gaia, offering a distinct local setting along the Atlantic instead of a generic urban circuit. Runporto, the organizers of Porto's marathon, manages this event, which caters to both novice and experienced marathon runners.
