Sesimbra Triathlon

The Sesimbra Triathlon is a Sunday sprint-distance event held at Lagoa de Albufeira, near Sesimbra, Portugal. It is part of the Portugal Triathlon Cup calendar and follows the standard short format: 750 meters swimming, 19.2 kilometers cycling, and a 5-kilometer run. The competition attracts some of Portugal’s top triathletes through its federated race. Additionally, an open race allows non-federated athletes to participate in the same event. The Sesimbra Municipal Chamber organizes the triathlon, with the Portugal Triathlon Federation providing technical support.
