Åhus TrailRun

Åhus TrailRun is an October trail race held in the coastal forest and along the sea south of Åhus in Skåne, Sweden. Participants can select from 2.5 km, 6 km, 11 km, or 17 km courses, accommodating both short-distance beginners and those seeking a challenging off-road run. A children's race of approximately 350 m is available for the youngest participants, including a medal and no timing. Pan-Kristianstad organizes the event, with a limit of 1,000 participants. The routes feature small hills, forest paths, varied terrain, sand dunes, and coastal sandy stretches. Even the shortest course involves an elevation gain of about 80 m, while the 17 km route climbs approximately 310 m and is predominantly trail, with some open terrain and beach running. The race is part of the Skåne Trailcup and includes a team competition with prizes, encouraging club runners, friends, competitive runners, and recreational participants to attend together.
