Smithfield Mountain Bike Park serves as the focal point, with race headquarters situated at the Crankworxs site and the trail head dictating the experience. Cairns MTB Gravity Enduro 1 2026 marks the second event of the year, featuring "fun courses with old favorites" and a club-run atmosphere where participants often contribute to trail maintenance.
Anticipate a classic gravity enduro format: timed stages, "self-seeding," and the flexibility to complete stages in any sequence within the designated race window. The course includes "blue, black, and double black grade trails." Elite and E-Bike categories will tackle an additional section on the queen stage. The participant range spans U15s to Juniors, Open, Veterans, Masters, Expert, Elite, and open E-Bike categories. Families are common attendees, including "rad MTB mums," with a FAMILY DISCOUNT available for groups of four or more racing members.
