Tiroler Silberpfad Trophy 2026

The Tiroler Silberpfad Trophy begins and ends in Schwaz, Austria's historic old town, located in the Silberregion Karwendel. This September trail-running series offers four distances: 11K, 23K, a 42K marathon, and an 86K ultra. The 11K route is not flat, climbing 600 meters, and the 23K route includes 1,400 meters of elevation gain. TVB Silberregion Karwendel Laufbewerbe organizes the event, following GET basic criteria. The courses depart Schwaz and ascend into the mountain terrain between the Karwendel and Tuxer Alps. Runners will encounter steep ascents, descents, narrow trails, and ridge sections where strategy is as important as speed. The 23K, originally the sprint distance at the first edition, is characterized as sharp and technically demanding. The 11K was introduced later as a shorter, intense option above Schwaz. The event targets trail runners seeking a genuine alpine challenge, from those opting for the shorter, demanding courses to marathon and ultra participants tackling the full Silberpfad route.
