The Northern Victoria Backyard Ultra, the longest-running event of its kind in the region, offers participants a chance to experience the backyard ultra format and challenge themselves. The course is nearly entirely flat, featuring a mix of gravel and paved paths, with sections along the river and through gardens. The loops around Shepparton are designed for enjoyment. Its central location in town allows support crews easy access to supplies between laps.
