About this race

Metcalfe Park in Pyrmont is the starting point for Carman’s Fun Run Sydney, returning after its first year with a local, cause-driven focus. The appeal is straightforward: thousands of runners and walkers setting out to “run through one of Sydney’s most iconic backdrops,” with the harbour turning pink to support Australians affected by breast cancer. The half marathon features a new two-lap configuration on a fast, flat out-and-back road course against the “spectacular backdrop of Sydney Harbour.” This route is “perfect for chasing a PB” or “stepping up to your first half.” Others participate to run, jog, or walk with friends, family, or groups, then return to the Event Village for medals, BCNA’s Mini Field of Women, Carman’s giveaways, and the shared feeling of making every step count.
