Legacy Gravel - UCI Gravel World Series 2026

The province of Vlaams-Brabant hosted the 2024 UCI Gravel World Championships and the 2023 UEC European Gravel Championships. Building on the success of these events, a legacy event has been established featuring a course in the same region. The course includes a local lap of 48km, starting in Heverlee and finishing in the city center of Leuven, near the finish of the 2024 UCI Gravel World Championships. Elite and younger age groups will complete three laps, while older age groups will finish after two laps. The race features rolling hills with a total elevation gain of 950m (or 610m for older categories). The inclines are generally not very steep. Most of the course utilizes the 2024 UCI Gravel World Championships local lap, with additional kilometers added on the south side in Wallonia and an alternative section near the finish.
