About this race
We Ride Flanders is the amateur cyclo event that mirrors the Tour of Flanders, taking place in Flanders on the Saturday preceding the professional race. Approximately 16,000 amateur cyclists complete their own Tour of Flanders on this day, with the event centered on everyday riders accessing roads typically seen on television by cycling fans.
The longest route covers 247 km, starting in Antwerp and ending in Oudenaarde. Shorter routes of 79 km, 133 km, and 163 km all begin and conclude in Oudenaarde. Participants navigate the race's sharp, historic climbs and uneven cobbled stretches. Recent editions have featured music along the course and at the finish line, along with participant benefits like a windbreaker and a medal.
