Lindener Hatz is a swim and run-bike event at Ricklinger Bad in Hannover, starting at 9:00 in the morning. The Sprint option gives each team member 1,000 meters in the pool, split into five 100-meter swims, followed by a 10 km Run & Bike section. The shorter Fun option uses 400 meters of swimming per person, split into two 100-meter swims, before the same kind of team race format continues on land.
TSV Victoria Linden e.V. organizes the event, with Christian Majoni listed as the organizational lead. The venue sits on Kneippweg in the Ricklingen area, reachable by tram lines 3, 7, 13, and 17 to Beekestraße, then an 850-meter walk. Drivers use Beekestraße, An der Bauerwiese, and Kneippweg, with a large public parking lot about 200 meters from the pool. The organizer also points riders toward the Ihme river route as the nicest way to arrive by bike, which fits the local, practical feel of the race.
