Köln Triathlon 2026

The Köln Triathlon is a city triathlon held in downtown Cologne, featuring a middle-distance race that begins in the evening. It holds approval and certification from the German Triathlon Union and the NRW regional federation, and stands as the largest triathlon in North Rhine-Westphalia. National and international professional athletes can utilize this event to gain points in the PTO World Ranking System, with scoring determined by finish position, field strength, and race time. It is one of only six German events included in this ranking, and the sole German Silver Event without a series affiliation. Following just two editions, organizers noted it as Germany’s third largest triathlon, with athlete feedback indicating a loud, energetic finish area within the city.
