Kossenblatter Schlosstriathlon 2026

The Kossenblatt Castle Triathlon is a cross-triathlon held in Kossenblatt, Brandenburg, around the end of August on the grounds of Baroque Kossenblatt Castle. It is the only official race of this format in Brandenburg. The program includes children's races, adult sprint and short-distance events, and relay options. The Schüler D race involves 50 metres of swimming, 750 metres on the bike, and 200 metres of running. The adult sprint covers 550 metres, 13.75 km, and 4 km, while the short distance is 1.25 km, 26.75 km, and 8 km. Multisport LOS e.V. organizes the event as part of the Brandenburg-Cup. The race also hosts state championship competitions for students and adults. One edition had 72 individual starters and 6 relay teams. Preparations begin more than six months in advance, requiring permission for the castle grounds. Over 100 volunteers and local sponsors assist with registration and finish-area food.
