Triathlon Heidesee 2026

Triathlon Heidesee is a club triathlon at Heidesee lake in Holdorf, Lower Saxony, with races in spring and early autumn. The main sprint format is short and practical: 500 meters swimming, 22 km cycling, and 5 km running. Relay teams cover the same distance split between athletes, and an Aquabike option is available for those wanting the swim-bike challenge without the run. The race is organized by TuS Blau-Weiss Lohne and is designed for age-group athletes, not a pro-only field. Individual sprint entries are expected to number a few hundred, with a separate relay field, making it busy but not overwhelming. The swim starts at the lake; athletes complete accreditation and bike check-in, with the briefing at the swim start. Sprint athletes use a rolling start, while relay teams start together. A portion of the entry fee supports Sportler gegen Hunger, the local Athletes Against Hunger campaign.
