Gran Fondo Ézaro - Fin do Camiño is a 107.6 km road cycling gran fondo based in Dumbría, A Coruña, on Spain’s Galician coast. Listings place it in July, though the current event date is not confirmed. The name means “End of the Camino,” and the ride connects the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage idea to the old “end of the earth” on the Atlantic edge of Galicia.
The route is in the Costa da Morte, a rough coastal region shaped by the Atlantic, rocky ground, hard weather, and centuries of shipwreck stories. Its main landmark is the Ézaro Waterfall, where the Xallas River drops 40 meters straight toward the sea, a rare sight in Europe. The race also uses the area’s steep cycling reputation: the Vuelta a España brought Ézaro’s brutal ramps to a wider audience, but local Galician riders already knew how hard those climbs could be.
