Lo Natural Extremo is an obstacle race in Garafía, La Palma, held annually since 2012. Based in Santo Domingo, it combines trail running with a demanding obstacle course. Participants navigate not only distance but also climbs, crawls, balance challenges, and man-made obstacles across outdoor terrain.
The course features pits, ramps, hurdles, monkey bars, barbed wire, and other obstacles that alter the race's pace. Organized by the Garafía City Council's sports department, it aims to expand the local sports calendar. The event attracts over 200 participants, including junior and children's categories. Local organizers consider it La Palma's most challenging obstacle race, requiring endurance, coordination, and a willingness to face discomfort.
