SUN OCT 11
LA TOU'RUN - La Tour-d'Aigues
SUN OCT 18
LA TOU'RUN is a trail running event held in La Tour-d'Aigues. The race village and bib pickup are located at Place Jean Jaurès, in front of the Château. Three timed trail routes are offered: a 10 km with 200 meters of elevation gain, a 16 km with 370 meters, and a 21 km with 530 meters. The 16 km and 21 km races begin in the morning, followed by the 10 km and the walking options. Additionally, a solidarity walk of 6 or 10 km is available between La Tour-d'Aigues and La Bastidonne, with reduced prices for children. All proceeds benefit Institut du Sein Marseille Provence, giving the event a charitable purpose. Awards are presented to the top three men and women in each race. Each female participant receives a rose, and a buffet with drinks awaits runners at the finish. Advance registration is required, as on-site sign-ups are not permitted and places are limited.
Course des châteaux du Puy-Sainte-Réparade - Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade
SUN NOV 1
Course des Châteaux du Puy-Sainte-Réparade is a new race series held within the wine estates surrounding Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade, north of Aix-en-Provence. Participants can select a 10 km race or a 21 km race, with a 6 km option for walkers. The routes are not flat road loops; the short race involves approximately 170 meters of climbing, the 21 km race about 340 meters, and the walk includes about 120 meters of ascent. Starts are from Gymnase Cosec on avenue du Stade, with the longer race commencing first, followed by the shorter race, and then the walk. The course consists of roughly half trails and vineyards, and half roads, providing a countryside trail character distinct from a typical town run. It passes through Château de Fonscolombe, Château Paradis, Château La Coste, and Tour Campanets. A key attraction is the access granted to wine domains not usually open to the public. The local club KM 610 established the event with backing from the town hall, following a significant absence of competitive running in the Puy-Sainte-Réparade countryside. Demand was immediate, with all 800 bibs sold by late May. Organizer Max Bajolle cited the route, varied distances, artistic elements, and engagement with younger runners via social media as contributing factors.
L'Alpi Trail de Pichauris
SAT NOV 7
L'Alpi Trail de Pichauris is a trail-running weekend in Allauch, near Marseille in the Bouches-du-Rhône. Held in early November, it offers runners several options in the hills, with short trail distances of approximately 12 km and 21 km, longer routes around 44 km, and an ultra option of about 82 to 85 km. The event also features relay formats and contributes to the UTMB Index, attracting both casual off-road runners and those pursuing challenging mountain objectives. The routes traverse the Pichauris Regional Park and the Garlaban massif, utilizing dirt trails instead of asphalt. Runners ascend hills associated with Marcel Pagnol, cross valleys, pass through Provençal garrigue, and gain views over the bay of Marseille. The terrain incorporates mountain and cliff sections, making even the shorter races more than a simple countryside jog. The event has welcomed nature-loving runners since 2015, providing options suitable for initial trail attempts and demanding enough for experienced ultra runners.
Course du balli - Saint-Cannat
MON NOV 16
The Course du Bailli begins at the Gymnase de la Seigneurie in Saint-Cannat. The morning features 7 km, 11.5 km, and 21 km foot races. This event includes both running and walking options for the 7 km and 11.5 km distances, distinguishing it from a single-distance road race. Separate races are organized for children aged 6-8 and 9-10. The event supports La Maison de Gardanne, a palliative care facility, with all profits directed to it. The prior edition generated close to EUR6,000, underscoring the race's charitable aim. Runners, walkers, families, and children gather at the event's central location in Saint-Cannat. Registration is managed via Kms.fr, and information can be found on the race's Facebook page and the Saint-Cannat municipal website.

Trail des Mange-Lamberts
SUN FEB 28
The Trail des Mange-Lamberts is a March trail running event held in Puget-sur-Argens, located in the Var department of southern France. Participants can choose between two timed off-road courses: the 21 km TML, featuring 1000 m of elevation gain, and the 11 km Rataillon, with approximately 400 m of climbing. About Half Marathon races in Toulon

Toulon Training Notes

Toulon hosts 15 Half Marathon races in 2026 within 80 km of the city centre — upcoming dates, recurring series, and other races nearby, all in one place.

Locals run the coast early, then climb into the pine smell before breakfast. The Sentier du littoral de Saint-Raphaël à Saint-Aygulf gives runners 14 km with 350 m of gain, and the Tour of Cap Sicié keeps things sharp over 18 km. Notre-Dame du Mai climbs for 6 km, while the circuit of the Toulon ridges stretches to 25 km when you want proper base miles. The brief names no dedicated run club, so locals use Ekiden de Toulon, Trail Poursuite du Mémorial, Trail du mammouth - Toulon, and Montée pédestre du Faron - Toulon as anchor days.

Locals ride out of Toulon with the sea in the background and the climbs waiting close by. The route is 7 km and stacks up 1,562 m of ascent, so it is the honest interval day. The Toulon to Le Lavandou route runs 50 km and gains +410 m, with Almanarre, the Old Salt Pans, and Port-Cros National Park in the mix. The brief names no dedicated cycling club, so riders orbit routes and events like Triathlon de Toulon, TriloopRace Triathlon de Toulon, and Concentration Toulon. Mont Faron, Mont Caume, Massif des Maures, and Massif de l’Estérel hold the climbing.

May and June are the clean pick for riding, and locals use them for steady Z2, longer coastal days, and gran fondo legs. The narrow sandy paths need care because pedestrians fill them fast. Runners still go early, and cyclists still watch the wind in this region. January averages 1°C while also landing as the windiest month. The Mistral changes the feel of both sports, so locals keep the coast flexible and use the hills when the day lines up.
