2nd Olympia Night Run – Run Under Zeus - 10km 2026

The Olympia Night Run – Run Under Zeus is a night running event held in Ancient Olympia, featuring 5 km, 10 km, and children's races. It takes place under the August full moon. The 10 km race begins at 21:00, requiring participants to use a headlamp instead of standard road-race equipment. Olympia Runners and the Municipality of Ancient Olympia organize the event, with contributions from organizations such as the Hellenic Olympic Committee and the International Olympic Academy. The course utilizes Olympia’s historical Olympic grounds instead of a typical town circuit. It goes by the Ancient Stadium, the International Olympic Academy, the Pierre de Coubertin Monument, and the Roman Cemetery. The route then runs alongside the Alfeios River before heading back towards central Olympia. The race packet contains a bib, a technical shirt, a commemorative medal, and electronic timing. Aid stations and the finish line will provide water, isotonic drinks, and bananas. Medical assistance, photography services, and bag storage are also included.
