14th Chios Half Marathon 2026 - 1.5km Kids

The 1.5 km Kids race is part of the Chios Half Marathon program on Chios, the mastic island in the North Aegean. This short children's run takes place on the same late-summer race morning as the 21.1 km half marathon, 10.5 km race, 5 km race, and 1.5 km PWD race. All events commence and conclude at Agios Minas Thimiana Town Hall. The children's race begins earlier than the half marathon and 10.5 km events. The race day activities are centered around Thimiana and the Kambos area, with traffic management in place while runners are on the course. Participants may collect their bibs at Chios Town Hall prior to race day. Free bus transportation to the start is provided, and a pasta meal is available at Agia Fotini beach on the evening before the main races. Awards are presented throughout the morning. The event relies on local volunteers, sponsors, and returning participants who have supported ChiosRunning and the island for many years.
