The second SzalamandRUN takes place below Solymári Castle, on the Buda hills' edge. The routes follow "nature-close paths," offering mixed options for adults, children, families, beginners, relaxed runners, and those over 60. This setup ensures a broad field while maintaining an outdoor character.
Expect forest dirt roads and asphalt sections, marked by painted arrows, ribbons, and signs. This course requires attentiveness even when feeling strong. Longer routes necessitate a phone and water bottle. The finish includes chip timing, aid, a medal for all participants, a shirt, warm food, photos, and a downloadable certificate and finish video. The eco-conscious approach suits a race situated on the wooded hills' edge.
