The Új Kajakház and Ecotourism Centre is situated beside Tatai Öreg-tó, with the race course circling the lake instead of an out-and-back design. It has the atmosphere of a local running event, now in its 95th year, offering choices for beginners, families, and those seeking a challenge. Underfoot conditions include asphalt and firm forest paths with little elevation gain, though rain can create puddles. Shorter courses lead towards the castle before returning, while longer loops proceed in the opposite direction with the lake to your right. Expect a diverse field, including runners over 60, and a well-organized finish with timing, refreshments, medals on many routes, handmade strudel for longer-distance participants, and the top male and female finishers receiving complimentary entry for the next year.
