The Wizz Air Budapest Half Marathon is a 21.1 km road race in Budapest, starting on Pázmány Péter sétány and serving as the opening event of BSI’s autumn running season. The main half marathon begins at 8:00 AM. Participants can also complete the distance as a two-person relay or a three-person relay, with legs measuring 8.3 km, 7 km, and 5.8 km. A separate 10 km race starts at noon, offering a shorter option on the same day. The route is closed and secured, featuring chip-based net timing, refreshments, medical support, an online results list, and a downloadable diploma. The event contributes to the Olimpiai Ötpróba points program, with the half marathon and relay options awarding 4 points, and the 10 km awarding 2 points. All finishers receive a custom technical running shirt and medal. Awards are presented to the top individual half marathon runners, the best pair and trio teams, and the leading wheelchair and handbike competitors.
