50° Reggello-Vallombrosa – 8° Memorial Massimo Montaghi

Reggello-Vallombrosa is an uphill road race in Tuscany, beginning in Piazza Roosevelt, Reggello, and concluding at the Abbey of Vallombrosa. The competitive course covers 13.2 kilometers with 650 meters of elevation gain, presenting a consistent ascent from town to the abbey. Bib pickup occurs earlier in Piazza Potente. The event also includes a non-competitive option and a 5-kilometer recreational walk ending near the abbey. The race is listed on the UISP Florence athletics calendar and is included in the 4 Legend Tuscan Peaks circuit, indicating its appeal to runners favoring mountain-style road races over flat city courses. Competitive participants in this 50th edition will receive a commemorative medal. The event is named in memory of Massimo Montaghi.
