Giro della Questura 2027

The Giro della Questura begins at Campo Scuola Moreno Martini in Lucca and concludes at Monte San Quirico, transforming a long-standing local group ride into an official road-cycling medio fondo. The race takes place in late March, with participants departing in the morning from the Campo Moreno Martini-Campo Coni athletics facility. The route covers the traditional 70 km weekly circuit that Lucca cyclists have traversed together for many years. It passes through Filettole, Nodica, Vecchiano, Camaiore, Monte Magno, and returns via Freddana. Cyclists of various abilities attend the regular ride, which originated in the 1970s. The race maintains the same symbolic finish at Monte San Quirico, followed by an awards ceremony at Campo Moreno Martini.
