Verona hosts 11 Half Marathon races in 2026 within 80 km of the city centre — upcoming dates, recurring series, and other races nearby, all in one place.

Locals run the Adige River when they want flat Z2 and easy rhythm near the city centre. RunChallenge meets on Mondays from 15:00 to 16:15 at the Via Bengasi car park in San Giacomo Park. Trail Delle Mura gives trail runners the medieval walls and enough twists to keep intervals honest. The Verona Marathon is a 42.195km day, with the World Athletics-certified route finishing in Piazza Bra. Giulietta and Romeo half marathon brings closed narrow streets and the Arena finish energy. Straverona suits locals who run and enjoy it.

Local riders roll out from the city centre and reach Valpolicella, Lake Garda, or the Lessinia foothills fast. Verona and Lessinia Loop starts in Verona, crosses Lessinia Park, and reaches 1,800 meters above sea level on a 145 km gravel overnighter. Verona Garda Gravel 500 gives bikepackers a 540-kilometre circuit with 7600m of gain through Lake Garda, Colli Euganei, Vicenza, and Colli Berici. April to June and September to October usually sit around 18 to 25 °C, so locals can stack Z2, intervals, and trail days without forcing it. Summer puts daytime averages between 27 and 32 °C, so riders head a few kilometres out to green, quiet spaces where trees and breeze help. Runners keep San Giacomo Park, the Adige River, and earlier starts in play. Winter brings cool, humid days, and fog can hang around from dusk until late morning.
