About this race
The TT Marathon guides runners past three current or former Drenthe TT circuits near Assen, linking a road race to the region's motor-racing past. It is scheduled as an annual autumn marathon, offering both a full and a half marathon.
The course crosses the Drenthe landscape surrounding Assen, not confined to the town itself, with a participant limit of 2,500. The inaugural event was held for the TT's 100th anniversary, transforming it from a singular occasion into a recurring competition. It welcomes a diverse group of participants: novice marathoners, those aiming for personal records, and individuals seeking a connection to Assen's extensive sporting heritage.
