Nittedal Ungdomsenduro is a youth enduro race held at Varingskollen Alpine Centre in Nittedal. It takes place on a Saturday and is open to riders aged 10 to 18. The event is designed as an accessible race, organized by volunteer parents from CK Nittedal. The goal is to provide young riders in enduro, downhill, and cross-country disciplines a full day on marked trails, avoiding hidden drops or hazardous blind sections. Cycling at Varingskollen is not lift-assisted, and electric bikes are prohibited.
Riders are grouped by age class, with stage difficulty increasing for older participants. Younger riders might complete only the initial two timed stages. Older classes can participate in more stages, including those in the lower sections of Varingskollen. The most capable groups will tackle a longer stage from the summit, requiring additional climbing to reach the starting point. One specific stage, Litt Ludvig, connects the youth race with the adult Hakadal Enduro course. The inaugural event attracted 70 participants from Eastern Norway. Subsequent editions have featured multiple named stages, with variations available for different age classes on the same stage.
