Eastern BOP Triathlon Club Monthly Du - July
Sunday, July 5, 2026 · Whakatane, New Zealand
About this race
Port Ōhope keeps this event straightforward: a Road/Path/Park Duathlon held at the eastern end of Harbour Road, in the reserve opposite the Ōhope Golf Club. The Eastern BOP Triathlon Club Monthly Du is part of the club’s winter duathlon series, held on the "first Sunday of every month." This is a practical club event, not a large-scale production.
The format is "Duathlon (Run + Bike + Run)," with "short and long course options" available. Adults and children 11 years and older will be present near the start area, with the course beginning and ending in the same reserve by Harbour Road. The terrain includes road, path, and park surfaces, typically allowing for quick transitions and predictable conditions.
