About this race

Ōhope Reserve provides a simple setting for this winter club duathlon: flat runs around the reserve, a road bike leg, and then a return to running. This is the second event in the Eastern Bay of Plenty Triathlon & Multisport Club’s winter duathlon season, a standard “run–bike–run event” rather than a large-scale production. A practical morning is planned, with children and youth competing on shorter, age-appropriate courses, followed by adults on short and long options. The draw is the “consistent winter racing option” and the “supportive club environment.” This suits newer multisport athletes finding their pace, but is also suitable for experienced racers seeking straightforward winter training without complications.
