Hydro Half Marathon 2026

The Hydro Half Marathon runs between the lakefront, Kepler Farm, and the Lake2Lake Trail, giving it the character of a Fiordland community event rather than a road race with some dirt added. It is a scenic trail event featuring lakeside paths, forest trails, and gravel 4WD sections, with views of the surrounding mountains, rivers, and native bush. Underfoot, expect a mix of riverbank, forest, and lakeside terrain. The finish returns to the lakefront, and aid stations and toilets are available along the route. Kids and families participate, and proceeds support the Fiordland Trails Trust, contributing to the feel of a local trail gathering with a purpose.
