Bieg Lato 2026

Bieg Lato is a summer running and Nordic walking event in Czeladź, Silesia, organized by TKKF Czeladź. It is designed for local participation, featuring children’s and youth races, a Nordic walking option, and running routes typically around 6 km and 10 km, with some editions including a longer distance. The field is limited to 200 participants, and all finishers receive a medal. The start and finish are at the Józef Pawełczyk Stadium. The route incorporates city green space, housing estates, woods, and post-mining terrain. Depending on the edition, runners might pass through Grabek Park, Kościuszko Park, Pszczelnik Park, the Siemianowice woods, the Saturn estate, and old mining heaps. The course is marked with arrows, tape, and volunteers, not a PZLA certificate. Water stations are planned around the 5 km mark and at the finish, with an additional station if the weather is hot. This series has reached its 36th edition, establishing it as a long-standing local event.
