Course du Tigre is a military-style obstacle race in Orzysz, Poland, known as the Military Capital of Poland. The event takes place at the Orzysz training camp, where participants navigate mud, sand, barbed wire, water-filled ditches, and obstacles designed for strength and nerve. The race features 2 km, 12 km, 20 km, and 30 km distances, with the main event named the Grande Barrique and shorter options for Petits Tigres.
The course requires participants to crawl under armored personnel carriers, ascend structures testing grip strength, and traverse rough terrain resembling a military selection drill. Orzysz provides a fitting backdrop, featuring a Military History Museum and its location between Lake Śniardwy and Lake Mamry. Following the race, many runners go to Lake Orzysz, a popular spot for kayakers and fishermen, and a military-style pea soup is typically served at the finish.
