Półmaraton Spychowski Tropem Niedźwiedzia is a forest half marathon in the Spychowo Forest District in Poland’s Warmian-Masurian region, run since 2018. The event is built around running in the woods rather than city streets, with a half marathon and shorter companion races including Dycha Juranda and Piątka Jagienki.
The start and finish sit in a forest clearing by the Niedźwiedzi Kąt forester’s lodge near Spychowo. The half marathon uses two marked loops on dirt paths, with aid stations and electronic timing. Stowarzyszenie Przyjazne Spychowo and Nadleśnictwo Spychowo organize the event, and the field is aimed at runners who want a quiet, natural course under forest cover rather than a road-race setting.
