Carp marathons are multi-day carp-fishing competitions held on Polish reservoirs. The second edition took place on the reservoir in Suchedniów, featuring sixteen teams. The competition format involved two-person teams fishing from their camps for carp and grass carp of sufficient size to be counted.
Only carp and grass carp weighing at least four kilograms qualified. Each team's final standing was determined by the combined weight of their three largest qualifying fish. Teams were permitted to use a Team Runner for assistance with camp setup, equipment preparation, and fish handling. The use of live bait and groundbait was prohibited. Carp mats and landing nets were mandatory to ensure fish were released in good condition. The winning pair caught three qualifying carp, including the event's largest fish at 11.2 kg. Another local team secured eighth place with a single qualifying carp.
