About this race
The Polish Aquabike Championships are national title races for athletes who swim and bike, omitting the run segment. The series features two distinct Polish triathlon locations: Susz, hosting a short 20.75 km race, and Malbork, offering a long-distance race for age groups centered on a 3.8 km swim and 180 km bike leg.
Susz saw 57 participants, with Marek Markowski taking first place in 42:28. Malbork’s long race focused on category competition: Marek Biegała finished first in the M40 category with a time of 5:30:17, Karol Jopkiewicz led the M18 field, and Ewelina Wołos won the K30 category. The results clearly illustrate the typical aquabike progression: a swim, a swift transition, followed by the majority of the race determined on the bike.
