Tatra Road Race Hell Mezczyzni 2026

Tatra Road Race Hell is the men's long-distance version of a difficult road cycling race in the Podhale region near the Tatra Mountains, held in July. The main Hell-Pro route covers 123 km with over 3,200 m of elevation gain, and the Hard-Fun option is 54 km with over 1,450 m of elevation gain, allowing participants to select a challenging day or a shorter, yet still steep, course. Cezary Szafraniec, a former racer and cycling enthusiast, established the event after seeking a demanding loop through the mountain roads surrounding Ciche, Ratułów, and Czerwienne. The race started with approximately 200 participants and later attracted fields of about 650, with an increasing number of international cyclists each year. Competitors also vie for special sprint prizes, a best-climber classification, and a team classification, adding further objectives beyond reaching the finish.
