About this race
The Golczewski Triathlon takes place in July around Golczewo, north-western Poland. Athletes swim, cycle, and run in one continuous event. Its main distance is a 1/4 ironman: a 950 m swim, a 45 km bike ride, and a 10.55 km run.
The race began as a small local competition with seven participants. It now attracts nearly 100 entrants from across Poland and abroad. It is one of the region's significant sports days. The route keeps the race closely connected to the roads and water surrounding Golczewo, rather than directing athletes to a generic closed-course venue.
