II Trail Cidade de Faro 2026

The II Trail Cidade de Faro will be held on November 1, 2026, in Estoi, Faro. Organized by Associação Temíveis d’Atalaia and the Municipality of Faro, the event features three trail running races and one recreational walk. The distances are 32 km (Long Trail), 21 km (Sprint Trail), 13 km (Mini Trail), and a 10 km walk. The courses primarily follow rural paths, natural trails, and forest roads, with brief sections on public roads. Depending on the distance, participants may encounter technical sections, uneven terrain, and steep climbs. The Long Trail has approximately 1,600 meters of positive elevation gain, and the Sprint Trail has about 700 meters. The Mini Trail and the walk have approximately 580 meters and 200 meters of positive elevation gain, respectively. The routes offer views of the Algarve coast and the hills around Estoi. The competitive races will have official rankings and electronic timing. The event includes aid stations, medical support, personal accident insurance, an official t-shirt, a finisher medal, and post-race refreshments.
