Bocksten Vineyard Backyard Ultra 2026

Bocksten Vineyard Backyard Ultra is a last-runner-standing race held at Ästad Vingård in Varberg, Sweden. The first loop begins at 09:00. Runners complete a 6.7 km loop, then reassemble on the hour for the subsequent loop. Participants who do not finish a loop before the next start are eliminated. The race continues until a single runner completes a final solo lap. The loop follows a path of gravel and grass encircling the vineyard, offering views over vines and lakes instead of urban streets. The start, finish, lap area, and competition hub are situated near the restaurant and staff parking. Arrival directions will be provided on-site. The event is limited to 200 participants, making it a small, managed race rather than a large-scale competition. Number tags will be distributed at the start area before the race and must remain visible. Runners will require a headlamp for nighttime running and any personal medications.
