5K races near Scottsville

The Haunted Horsepower 5K Run/Walk takes participants onto the race track at NCM Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The event is the inaugural Haunted Horsepower race, with the track setting as its primary draw. Instead of typical city streets or park paths, the 5K utilizes pavement designed for motorsports. The race offers chip timing, online results, a shirt, overall awards for the top male and female finishers, and age-group awards for participants aged 12 and under up to 70 and over. A free Kids Dash for children 10 and under precedes the 5K, and packet pickup occurs on race day.

The Howl-O-Ween Hustle 5K, a dog-friendly Halloween run, takes place at Las Colonias in Grand Junction. It features a 5K race and a 1 Mile Fun Run. Both events begin and end at WestCo Brewing.
