The Direct Znojmo Burčák Tour is a Kolo pro život cycling event held in Znojmo, with its race headquarters and finish located at the Loucký Monastery complex. It is designed for mountain bikes, gravel bikes, and e-bikes, featuring main routes of 50 km, 32 km, and 22 km. The 50 km route, which includes 874 meters of climbing, begins at Masarykovo náměstí. The 32 km route and the 22 km Family jízda both commence from the event area. The Family jízda is not a competition, and children can participate in separate races at the venue.
The event attracts hundreds of cyclists and families, offering more than just a start for competitive racers. The 50 km race has a time limit of five hours, the 32 km route four hours, and the 22 km ride three hours, accommodating a spectrum from intense competition to a relaxed family excursion. The Znojmo location is significant as the finish festivities embrace Moravian wine region traditions, with participants receiving burčák (young wine) and enjoying cimbál music. The organizers also provide an alternative route for wet weather, ensuring the event proceeds even in adverse conditions.
