Cursa dels Nassos is a 10 km night race in Barcelona, run on flat city streets near the seafront. It starts and finishes on Carrer de Selva de Mar, near Plaça Ramon Calsina, and typically draws 10,000 to 25,000 runners. The race is designed for speed, with pacers, chip timing, cash prizes, and a marked road course, but the flat profile also makes it accessible for newer runners and visitors ending the year in the city.
The route heads from Selva de Mar toward waterfront streets including Passeig de Garcia Faria, Passeig Calvell, Salvador Espriu, Dr Aiguader, Pla de Palau, Passeig de Picasso, Avinguda Icària, Marina, Llull, Llacuna, and Avinguda Diagonal before returning to Selva de Mar. Elite athletes compete alongside club runners, recreational runners, and first-timers aiming for a fast 10K. Entry includes race-day services: chip rental, T-shirt, goodie bag, drink and nutrition stations, medical support, bag drop, toilets, dressing rooms, photos, video, expo access, and post-race massage.
