Lake Awoonga Adventure Race - LAAR

Lake Awoonga is central to this event, with the race structured around mountain biking, kayaking, and trail running within the natural surroundings of Lake Awoonga. The Lake Awoonga Adventure Race offers a genuine off-road experience, distinct from a simple running race. It provides endurance, competitive, and novice categories, attracting participants willing to change activities when their bodies demand it. The longer courses consist of five stages in this sequence: a trail bike ride, a trail run, a kayak or swim, another trail run, and a final bike ride. The novice format features four stages for teams of two. This option is suitable for pairs new to adventure racing, allowing them to participate without the intensity of longer events, yet still including bike, boat, trail, and a second bike leg before completion.
