Service and Sacrifice 5k & Half

The Service and Sacrifice 5K & Half begins and ends at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, with the Florida Panthers serving as the host. The event features both a 5K and a half marathon, focusing on veterans and first responders and connecting to the Panthers Foundation’s support for the military. Over 1,000 runners participated in the sold-out race, which included music from DJ Genesis at the start area. US Marine Gunnery Sergeant Jeffery Schuh was among the runners, and Cleefol Sanintvaliere finished first in just over 18 minutes.
