Informazioni su questa gara
Lone Wolf South East sends runners around a 6.7k loop in Alice Holt Forest, starting and finishing near Farnham in Surrey. The main challenge is simple and brutal: run one loop every hour, on the hour, for up to 24 hours. Each lap must be finished inside 60 minutes, so faster runners earn more time to eat, drink, change kit, sit down, or get ready for the next start. The event also offers shorter race options, including 10k, half marathon, marathon, and ultra distances.
The route uses undulating forest tracks, so the difficulty comes from repeated climbs, uneven footing, and managing energy across the day rather than chasing one continuous point-to-point course. Beginners and elite runners can enter, and the format gives it a social feel because everyone keeps returning to the same start line each hour. The final lap changes the rhythm: on lap 24, the remaining runners race to the finish, and the winner becomes the Lone Wolf Champion. The overall victor receives a handmade wooden trophy, and all participants receive wooden medals.
